After chilling in Beirut for five days, we arrived yesterday for our whirlwind tour of Jordan. Beirut was great. Wonderful food, good nightlife, beautiful location, lots going on... definitely one of our favourite stops so far! Today we visited Petra, recently voted as one of the "new" 7 wonders of the world. Maybe some pictures later - technical difficulties right now.

To celebrate the completion of our Ph.D.'s, and to avoid looking for jobs, we are traveling this year, looking for the best places to drink tea, eat sweets, smoke shisha, and of course talk politics - and maybe physics too! About Us
We met on a blind date in 2005 and currently are on a backpacking adventure around the world. England, Germany, Italy, Turkey, Syria, Jordan, Egypt, and India are some of the places we hope to visit.
