We arrived in Delhi yesterday morning. It is pretty much just as I expected -- madness, broken by pockets of serenity. And the food is great!! There are also a lot of trees and greenery here after the Middle East. Today we saw our first real rain in two months.

To celebrate the completion of our Ph.D.'s, and to avoid looking for jobs, we are traveling this year, looking for the best places to drink tea, eat sweets, smoke shisha, and of course talk politics - and maybe physics too! On this blog, we will post the occasional story and picture of the interesting things we find along the way.
About Us
We met on a blind date in 2005 and currently are on a backpacking adventure around the world. England, Germany, Italy, Turkey, Syria, Jordan, Egypt, and India are some of the places we hope to visit.
